Forage cereals and plants

Southern fertile soils, the typical and low humifer chernozem, offer us the potential to obtain an impressive crop of cereals and forage plants. On our 1300 hectares, for cereals and plants, we cultivate barley, oats, wheat, rapeseed, sunflower and peas. We use a powerful technology for processing the soil - Mini-Till technology. This agriculture technology protects the soil from erosion and help to maintain the humidity, even in periods of drought.

Barley, oats and forage wheat are mainly grown on our fields. Are appreciated by farmers for the quality of the crops and the quantity proposed for the purchase. Feed grains are grown and cared according to the high standards in agriculture.

Sunflower is one of the most wide-spread oil plant in our country. It is used for multiple use. Sunflower oil is the favorite oil for consumption and food production in our country. After the oil extraction and producing the sunflower parts left are used as animal feed.

In order to get a bigger production, we take care to pollinate the sunflower fields. During the appearance of the first flowers in culture, we place nearby honeybee families.

We cultivate rapeseed for the rapeseed oil, biodiesel and for the use as green feed for animals. Rapeseed is an excellent food source for animals. We use varieties with high production potential and better adapted to our climate.

Forage pea is a plant rich in protein neccessary for the intensive animal husbandry. Are used all the peas parts and in various forms: as green peas, silo and hay, grains, chaff and straw.

The alternation of the cereals with pea plants helps us to regenerate the soil and to improve the quality, inserting in the soil the nitrogen from the air. Thereby naturally improving and preparing soil for another culture.
